The Office Building of the Year Awards are the most prestigious and comprehensive programs of their kind in the commercial real estate industry recognizing quality in office buildings and rewarding excellence in office building management.

Blumberg Capital Partners has been recognized frequently by its peers for outstanding property management and has received multiple Office Building of the Year awards, as well as other awards from the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) for buildings it owns and those it has managed for others.

The ENERGY STAR designation is given by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to buildings that meet strict energy performance standards set by EPA and uses less energy, is less expensive to operate, and causes fewer greenhouse gas emissions than its peers. Blumberg Capital Partners is committed to superior energy management and continuously strives to improve the energy performance in their buildings. Three Riverway Office Tower, a 1980 vintage, 21-story class A office building in Houston is a recent example. After acquiring the building, the Blumberg Capital Partners property management group implemented a new and innovative energy efficiency program that included retrofitting the lighting, upgrading the HVAC systems and installing a state of the art Energy Management system. The program achieved a reduction in energy consumption of over 35%. As a result, the Energy Star designation was awarded to Three Riverway Office Tower.
