Background

Blumberg Grain offers a total solution to food security and crop storage needs that, properly implemented, reduces post-harvest losses to below 5%.

The company's agricultural roots reach back to the late 1800's, when the Blumberg family owned thousands of acres of cotton, pecans, tomato, and mango groves in Florida and Alabama.

In the Deep South of the United States, having secure storage of one's own was critical to minimize losses and make the most of market timing premiums. The Blumberg's store houses were the key to farming profitability.

Decades later, Blumberg Grain has expanded on that basic product to create the leading warehouse technology and management systems in the US for food security storage.

Today, we assist private companies and countries to modernize their agricultural value chains, increase the quality and marketable output of their harvests, enable efficient market timing, and significantly boost exports of agriculture products.

Bringing new solutions to an age old problem.
